How the Carabiner Finder (Black Diamond models) works

We compare published specifications; we have not tested these products.

Which details affect a match?

A model matches when its details meet every choice you select. Missing or conflicting values stay unknown. If nothing fits, the finder shows the closest option and what it misses.

  • Which maker gate type do you want?
  • What minimum gate opening do you need (mm)?
  • What maximum weight do you want per carabiner (g)?

Order and links

The starting order helps you browse. Your choices determine which models match. When the first match has no product link, the finder identifies another linked match separately. Commission amounts do not determine a match.

Sources and limitations

Ten Black Diamond models, one row each with color versions merged, from BD's product pages checked September 26, 2026. Gate types use BD's own words. The Rocklock Twistlock page calls the gate a Twistlock in the title and a screwgate further down, so its type is left blank. Strength figures are BD's stated kN ratings; certification and how to rig a system are outside this page, so use the maker's instructions for the exact model. Our part was reading BD's spec sheets; we didn't clip or load any carabiner.

The finder shows source links and the dates they were checked. Those dates do not establish today’s price or stock. Before ordering, confirm the model and variant on the seller’s page.
