Five GSI sets name four campers. Bugaboo, Glacier and Pinnacle Camper say 4 person; Base Camper Large says 4+.
Glacier uses stainless; other surfaces include ceramic and nonstick.

Choose usable pot volume rather than counting diners
GSI Outdoors’ Bugaboo Ceramic Backpacker has a 2 L largest pot, while Glacier Base Camper Large has a 5 L largest pot. Known largest-pot volumes range from 1 to 5 L. Serving-size descriptions and pot volumes are separate fields; neither supplies a meal plan for your group.
Pinnacle Ceramic Backpacker has no usable largest-pot volume here, so the Backpacker name cannot substitute for a capacity figure.
Find the cooking surface within the material description
GSI describes Glacier Base Camper Large with Stainless Steel and Silicone; the Bugaboo Ceramic Backpacker description includes a ceramic non-stick coating, polypropylene and silicone. GSI’s capacity, material and packing information is documented, without cooking meals in the sets or judging cleanup effort. Those descriptions cover multiple components, rather than showing that every piece uses the same material.
Read the maker’s heat-source and cleaning instructions for the cooking surface and each accessory. Material descriptions are available for all 11 sets, but they cannot tell you how evenly a pot heats or how a coating behaves over time.
Compare the packed bundle with the space in your kit
Bugaboo Ceramic Backpacker packs to 8.2 inches by 8.2 inches by 5.4 inches. Glacier Base Camper Large packs to 9 inches by 9 inches by 5.9 inches. Check whether the arrangement includes the cups and utensils you plan to carry; photos do not specify package contents.
Packed dimensions do not give carrying weight.
Before you buy
Does a 3 L pot mean a set feeds three people?
Pot size and group size are separate. Four sets carry a 3 L largest pot, and GSI labels them 4 person, 3+ person or nothing at all, so you'll see group choices and pot sizes that don't line up. The Glacier Base Camper Large carries a 5 L pot. Five do. The Bugaboo, Glacier and Pinnacle Camper sets say 4 person, and both Base Camper Large sets say 4+ person. Glacier sets are stainless; Bugaboo and Pinnacle use ceramic or nonstick coatings, so you're picking a cooking surface too.
Can these sets go over a campfire?
Don't assume it from the category. Follow GSI's use and care instructions for the exact set and each piece before cooking over an open flame, since the answer could differ between a stainless Glacier set and a coated Bugaboo or Pinnacle one.
What does the material list cover?
It's GSI's list for the whole set, so a stainless set can still include polypropylene or silicone parts, as the Glacier Stainless Camper does. Each of the 10 lists matches only one or two sets.
