How the Travel Backpack Finder works

We compare published specifications; we have not tested these products.

Which details affect a match?

A model matches when its details meet every choice you select. Missing or conflicting values stay unknown. If nothing fits, the finder shows the closest option and what it misses.

  • Minimum published capacity (L)?
  • Maximum empty weight (g)?
  • Maximum first exterior dimension (in)?

Order and links

The starting order helps you browse. Your choices determine which models match. When the first match has no product link, the finder identifies another linked match separately. Commission amounts do not determine a match.

Sources and limitations

Ten travel packs, four from Eagle Creek, three from Tortuga, two from Matador and one from Aer, copied from the makers' product pages on September 26, 2026. Aer lists pounds only and Tortuga rounds to 1.6 kg, so those gram figures are approximate. The Tour Lite 28L's capacity is blank because its title says 28L and its spec table 27 L, and its depth disagrees between inches and centimeters; no weight was found in the 55 L Tour pack's spec section. No pack was loaded or worn for this page, so fit, comfort and airline acceptance are for you to judge.

The finder shows source links and the dates they were checked. Those dates do not establish today’s price or stock. Before ordering, confirm the model and variant on the seller’s page.
