Pocket jigs: thickness and clamps?

Choose stock thickness and clamps. 520PRO has presets; Foreman is powered, others need drills.

How the comparison works

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Source dates appear with each link below. A source date does not confirm today's price or stock.

Sources for all 10 models

Micro and XL serve different board thicknesses

Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig Micro covers 0.5 to 0.75 in stock. Several other Kreg jigs cover 0.5 to 1.5 in, while Pocket-Hole Jig XL starts at 1.5 in and has an unknown upper bound here. Your thinnest and thickest boards both need to fit the named jig's range.

Pocket-Hole Jig Mini has unresolved comparison fields, so it cannot supply a supported thickness range. Presets on a jig still need the exact settings from its instructions; matching the endpoints is an initial screening step, not a complete setup.

Clamping hardware changes the way you work

Kreg Foreman Pocket-Hole Machine is powered and uses an integrated handle; the other entries use a separate drill. Massca Twin Pocket Hole Jig Set has a clamping magnet, whereas Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig Micro uses a clamp adapter. A magnet or adapter is not a promise that a separate clamp arrives in the box.

These jig comparisons follow maker thickness and clamping descriptions, without drilling sample joints. Read the kit contents for the jig, bit, screws and clamp, then follow the manual's setup and protective-equipment instructions. Choose the workflow you can support at your bench as well as the range your boards need.

Before you buy

Why are there two thickness questions?

A mixed-stock project has a thinnest and a thickest board. The two controls compare those bounds separately with the maker’s declared range. If you use one thickness, enter it for both.

Are all clamps and drills included?

No. Verify each exact kit’s contents. An adapter or magnet is a clamping feature, not a promise that a clamp is included. Foreman is a powered pocket-hole machine rather than a handheld drill jig.
