How the comparison works

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Source dates appear with each link below. A source date does not confirm today's price or stock.

Equal saddle width can hide a rail and weight choice

WTB Solano Medium Fusion Form Cromoly Black Saddle and Solano SL Medium Fusion Form Titanium Black Saddle both measure 142 mm wide and 240 mm long. Their weights are 257 g and 205 g. The titanium variant changes rails and carrying weight without changing those outside dimensions.

Those numbers belong to the selected variants, not every size or rail option on a shared product page. This WTB comparison reads variant dimensions without riding the saddles, so equal size should not be taken as equal feel.

Use width as a fit input rather than a comfort result

The saddle widths span 142 to 174 mm. WTB Comfort Steel Wide Saddle is at the wide end and weighs 390 g, while several medium saddles share narrower widths with different lengths and shapes. Physical saddle width is not your sit-bone measurement.

Use WTB's fitting guidance for your riding position and the exact variant. Shape and personal fit still matter after a dimension match. A wider saddle or lighter rail cannot predict your comfort, so avoid choosing by a width number alone.

Before you buy

Is saddle width the same as sit-bone width?

This finder filters the physical width listed for each saddle. Use the manufacturer’s fitting guidance to decide your target width. For the same dimensions with less weight, Titanium fits that preference; neither measurement predicts your comfort.

Are these dimensions for every size of a saddle?

Each row identifies a selected WTB model and SKU, rather than every width or rail option. Use that exact variant’s dimensions and the maker’s fitting guidance for your riding position.

Does a matching width guarantee comfort?

Shape, riding position and personal fit still matter. This table narrows published dimensions; it does not predict comfort.
