How the Hunting Rangefinder Finder works

We compare published specifications; we have not tested these products.

Which details affect a match?

A model matches when its details meet every choice you select. Missing or conflicting values stay unknown. If nothing fits, the finder shows the closest option and what it misses.

  • Which magnification do you want to compare (×)?
  • Which carry weight fits your kit (oz)?
  • Which maker-stated deer range do you want to compare (yards)?

Order and links

The starting order helps you browse. Your choices determine which models match. When the first match has no product link, the finder identifies another linked match separately. Commission amounts do not determine a match.

Sources and limitations

Eleven handheld rangefinders, six Vortex, three Leupold and two Bushnell, copied from each maker's US product page on September 26, 2026. Deer and reflective ranges are kept exactly as each maker labels them; Bushnell states a maximum with no target type, so that figure isn't treated as reflective range. Dealer stock and prices weren't looked at. No rangefinder went to the field for this page, so real ranging distance, accuracy and glass quality rest on the makers' word.

The finder shows source links and the dates they were checked. Those dates do not establish today’s price or stock. Before ordering, confirm the model and variant on the seller’s page.
