Read both ends of the selected lens range

Julbo gives Stormchaser's selected lens light-transmission endpoints of 7% and 80%, compared with 16% and 70% for Banger. The upper endpoint alone leaves out the darker end of the lens range. Keep both endpoints attached to the lens named in the row.

Sharp has no transmission endpoints in the source material. An active minimum-upper-endpoint filter excludes it rather than assigning a value. These are Julbo lens figures, not measurements of visibility or adaptation speed from skiing with the goggles.

Frame shape and fit labels answer different questions

Shadow combines a spherical lens with Julbo's Compact Fit description, while Cyclon combines a cylindrical lens with Compact Fit. Stormchaser uses Larger Fit. Geometry and fit labels let you separate options, but neither is a measurement of your face.

Large and Larger Fit are separate choices in the fit menu; selecting either does not include the other. Before buying, compare the exact lens option and fit guidance with your helmet and eyewear. Another lens sold under the same frame name can have different transmission properties.

Before you buy

Does 7–80% VLT mean two lenses are included?

For the selected REACTIV lenses, 7–80% VLT describes the light and dark endpoints of one photochromic lens.

Why is Sharp’s VLT blank?

Sharp’s selected page identifies a Spectron 1 lens without a numeric VLT. The value stays unknown instead of being inferred from the category or a similar lens. Your light-transmission preference needs the exact lens figure.

Does the fit label guarantee a match with my face or glasses?

Try the frame with your helmet and prescription glasses if needed. Julbo describes the separate Stormchaser OTG as designed for prescription eyewear. Each row identifies one frame-and-lens combination. Stormchaser has a spherical lens; Launcher has a cylindrical lens. Both selected REACTIV combinations have a Larger Fit label and the transmission range explained above. VLT and fit categories cannot assure visibility or comfort; helmet, face and prescription-glasses fit require separate checks.
