Tennis bags: what racquet capacity and shape?

Babolat’s Pure Drive and Pure Aero backpacks both hold up to 3 racquets and have a 50 cm longest side. Your other gear uses storage too.

Those filters leave both backpacks in play.

How the comparison works

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Source dates appear with each link below. A source date does not confirm today's price or stock.

Bag length does not track racquet capacity closely

Babolat RH6 Pure Drive and RH12 Pure Aero each have an 80 cm longest side, yet their maker-stated maximum capacities are 6 racquets and 12 racquets. Court XS holds a stated maximum of 3 racquets with a 74 cm longest side. Consider carrying style and capacity together rather than reading storage space from length alone.

Shoes and clothing can occupy space included in the maximum racquet count. Our comparison uses bag dimensions and capacity claims, without packing a match-day load into these bags.

A backpack body is shorter than a protruding racquet

ADV Flex Backpack has a 45.72 cm longest side and a maximum capacity of 2 racquets; Babolat Backpack Pure Drive has a 50 cm longest side and a maximum capacity of 3 racquets. Across all bags here, maximum capacities span 2 to 12 racquets and longest sides span 45.72 cm to 80 cm.

The longest-side figure describes the bag body. A racquet extending from a backpack can make the loaded shape taller, so allow for that before choosing a locker or travel space. A compact backpack measurement cannot prove the entire loaded bag will fit.

Before you buy

Will a six-racquet bag hold six racquets and all my other gear?

Racquet capacity is the maker’s maximum count, with clothes and shoes potentially sharing that space. Your complete kit needs the bag’s compartment layout. A maximum racquet figure does not promise room for every other item too. For more racquets, compare the racquet-bag styles, while allowing for shoes and clothing; a protruding racquet can make a loaded backpack taller.

Does longest side mean height?

It is the largest of the three maker-listed dimensions. The original dimensions and calculation are recorded in the evidence.

Does bag size include a racquet sticking out of a backpack?

The dimensions describe the bag body. A racquet protruding from a backpack can make the loaded package taller, so your storage or travel clearance needs the loaded arrangement rather than the body dimension alone.
