How the comparison works

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Source dates appear with each link below. A source date does not confirm today's price or stock.

Hopper capacity and drill pace should be read together

Hoppers span 120 to 250 balls. Spinshot Pro holds 120 balls, Elite Liberty holds 150, and Lobster’s Phenom holds 250. The maximum feed interval is 10 seconds for Spinshot Pro, 12 seconds for Elite Liberty and 9 seconds for Phenom. More balls do not buy a longer pause between feeds.

Those are maker capacities and timing limits, with no court drills performed for this guide. A maximum interval does not reveal the shortest interval, every available increment or the ball mix the machine accepts.

A speed ceiling leaves the rest of the session open

Maker maximum speeds range from 68 to 80 mph: Spinshot Pro is 68 mph, Elite Liberty is 70 mph and Phenom is 80 mph. Treat these as advertised ceilings rather than equivalent measured delivery. They do not describe placement, spin or the full menu of drills.

Feed timing is absent for Spinshot Player and the Spinshot high-speed Plus model. Examine the selected power supply, remote and configuration on the product page rather than carrying features across a family name. Keep people clear of the launch path and follow the machine’s loading and shutdown instructions.

Before you buy

Is 80 mph the same on every machine?

Treat it as each maker's own figure. Nine of the 11 advertise 80 mph at the top; the Elite Liberty stops at 70 mph and the Spinshot Pro at 68 mph. Spinshot words it as speeds up to 80mph, and no test method comes with either maker's figure here, so don't read a few mph as a real gap.

Why do the Spinshot Plus-2 and Player vanish when I set a time between balls?

No feed interval appears for them here, so any setting on that control hides them. Both hold 120 balls and are advertised up to 80mph; for their time between balls, ask Spinshot. Lobster's Elite Liberty, One, Two and Three go up to 12 seconds. The Elite Grand Four, Grand Five LE and both Phenoms stop at 9 seconds, the Spinshot Pro at 10 seconds, and Spinshot's Plus-2 and Player don't say. Those 9-second Lobsters hold 150 or 250 balls but start at 35 mph. The 12-second four go down to 10 mph.

What should I sort out before buying?

The power supply, remote and delivery terms, because those can change with the configuration you select. The top-speed figure also says nothing about the slowest or softest ball a machine throws, so read the full speed range on the maker's page.
