What comes with a lighter tennis racket frame?

Lighter frames have bigger heads here. Three 260 g rackets have 102 or 105 sq in heads and arrive strung; both 305 g frames have 98 sq in heads and 16x20 strings.

Six unstrung Pure frames weigh 270-305 g.

How the comparison works

Your choices are compared with each model’s product details. A missing or conflicting value stays unknown and cannot satisfy a choice you select. The starting order helps you browse; it does not rate real-world performance.

Compare the frame before accounting for strings

Babolat’s unstrung weights span 260 to 305 g, with head sizes from 98 to 105 sq in. Boost Drive has the 260 g frame and 105 sq in head; Pure Aero 98 has the 305 g frame and 98 sq in head. Even a racket sold strung uses an unstrung weight here. Strings change the measurements you carry onto the court.

Boost Drive’s unstrung balance is 345 mm, while Evo Aero Lite’s is 325 mm despite both frames weighing 260 g. Weight alone does not settle balance. This is a comparison of Babolat’s frame figures, without hitting sessions to judge swing feel or comfort.

Keep head size and string pattern attached to the variant

Pure Aero 98 uses a 16x20 string pattern; Boost Drive uses 16x19. The rackets share a 27 in length, so length will not separate these choices. Keep the variant name, head size and pattern together when opening a product page, and verify whether that package includes strings.

Unstrung weight and balance do not specify the finished setup, and string pattern does not prove a power or spin advantage. Choose strings and tension using the frame’s instructions rather than assigning performance from the pattern alone.

Before you buy

Are the weights with strings on?

No. Babolat gives unstrung weight and balance for all ten, including the four sold strung, so a strung racket weighs more than its figure here and strings shift its balance as well.

How different is the balance across these frames?

Babolat's unstrung balance figures run from 315 mm on the Pure Aero 98 Gen9 to 345 mm on the Boost Drive Strung. The Pure Drive Gen11, Pure Aero Team Gen9 and Pure Strike 100 Gen4 share 320 mm, so balance won't split those three.

Are other brands, lengths or grip sizes covered?

Not here. All ten are Babolat adult frames at 27 in, so length won't separate them, and grip size isn't part of this comparison; pick it on Babolat's page for the exact generation you want.
